Jamie Chavez is a Colorado native. She has and MBA and a graduate degree in Community and Economic Development. Her professional background has been focused on fighting poverty, inequality, and gender based violence through community development. 

Jamie has been married for 13 years and has two girls, a 3 year old and a 5 year old. Becoming a mom brought light to how our society views and treats women. She knows women aren’t super heroes. They are human. And they deserve to be celebrated and refreshed, which is why she is thrilled to be a part of this retreat.
